One thing’s for sure: it’s very competitive out there – but you probably didn’t need us to tell you that. We received over 90 applications for our previous junior design position – and we looked at them all. So, due to the high level of responses that we receive, we only reply to candidates that we wish to interview. For the same reason, we can’t offer personal feedback. We understand how much effort goes into applying properly for jobs like these, so please accept our thanks for your application.

If you’re not chosen on this occasion, don’t lose heart. Everyone in our agency could tell you several stories about those times when a coveted role eluded them. Check your CV for brevity, relevance and accuracy and get a critical friend or two to assess your portfolio or CV (and listen to what they tell you!). If you’re sending us work, make sure it’s your best work, and presented and explained as well as it can be – and that it’s relevant to the role you’re applying for.

Whatever the outcome – good luck.
